House rules

At BBB we pride ourselves on having created a welcoming private space, where Members feel instantly at ease and Club guidelines are there simply to make sure there are no hiccups along the way. As a platform for providing solutions and creating opportunities, BBB Club Rules promise an equal and like-minded approach that sets us apart. There are no levels to BBB Membership – all Members are equal.
Club motto
In the spirit of BBB’s belief in and approach to open collaboration, we’ll misquote JFK: “ask not what your club can do for you – ask what you can do for your club”.
Etiquette
Members are required to behave in a manner that is respectful to all and act in line with dinner party etiquette. Excessive self-promotion can be tedious and probably best to steer clear of politics and religion…

We see this as an opportunity to inform, assist and charm your fellow Members, whilst making some great connections along the way.
Partner Politics
We’re all for great relationships and actively encourage BBB Members to share in our treasure trove of amazing Partners. Hand-picked for their expertise, gold-standard reputations and exemplary level of service, BBB Partners have their own rules of etiquette that include good manners, respecting boundaries and resisting the hard sell.

When engaging Partner services, we’ve taken care of the small print, and ensured that all Partners hold valid, service specific, professional indemnity and public liability insurance. We know that you will be in great hands but rest assured that the BBB Team are there to help should there be any issues (although as hosts we can’t accept any liability).
MEMBERSHIP
• You’re the chosen one, which means Membership is non-transferable
• In the interests of building a like-minded community, we invite Members to propose new Club Members and Partners
• When it comes to Membership renewals, BBB have the last say
• Although we’d be disappointed to see you go, Membership can be cancelled at any time
• Unlikely, but if a Member does breach our BBB etiquette, we’ll politely ask them to leave the Club
Members’ Code
With a wealth of opportunity comes responsibility, and with that in mind we ask all BBB Members to be open and transparent in their exchanges.
• Feel free to shout about a side-hustle but please resist the temptation to go full sales patter. If you want to promote a personal business, then by all means drop the BBB Partnerships Team a line
• There’s no doubt that direct messaging is necessary at times, but the spirit of BBB is about openness and collaboration ensuring everyone benefits
• Whilst we all love a bit of self-promotion, using the Jobs Board to speculatively post your CV and advertise availability is a no, no – but feel free to post vacancies of course

Confidentiality & Privacy
What happens in BBB Club, stays in BBB Club. As a private members’ club, we are all about keeping things confidential and totally private between our Members and Partners.
